SQA Higher Entry Requirements (by end of S6)
- AAAAB Higher at end of S5 + BB Advanced Higher
- Additional requirements: Highers Chemistry, Biology and Physics or Mathematics.
A-level Standard Entry Requirements
- AAA
- Additional requirements: A level grades AAA including Chemistry and one of Maths, Physics or Biology.
International Baccalaureate
38 points including three Higher Level subjects at 666, including Chemistry and Biology. A 6 in Standard Level Mathematics or Physics is also required, although HL is recommended. SL English must also be taken to Grade 6.
Graduate Applicant Degree Requirements
Minimum of a 2:1 Honours degree in a relevant science subject, obtained within seven years of the course start date. Candidates whose degree is not in a science subject or who achieved their degree more than seven years ago are required to have A-Level or equivalent Chemistry and Biology, also within seven years of starting the course. Those with Masters or PhD degrees in a science field may be exempt from this requirement.
