University of Bristol
The University of Bristol Medical School in England provides the following courses that require UCAT:
- Medicine (A100)
- Medicine with gateway year (Bristol) A108
- Dentistry (Bristol) (A206)
- Dentistry with gateway year (Bristol) (A208)
Interviews are awarded based solely on UCAT once academic threshold met.
In 2020 applicants with a score or 2690 were invited to an interview.
This is not assessed, but may be used to differentiate between applicants who have achieved the same UCAT score.
GCSE Requrements for University of Bristol Medical School are:
- Maths - Grade 7 minimum
- English - Grade 4 minimum
- Science - No requirements
- Other requiremants - No other requirements
GCSEs are not scored. Only minimum requirements needed
A-levels or Scottish Higher requirements.
A Level: AAA including Chemistry and either Biology, Physics or Mathematics.
36 points overall with 18 at Higher Level, including 6, 6 at Higher Level in Chemistry and one of Biology, Physics or Mathematics (either Analysis and Approaches or Applications and Interpretations)
Graduate Applicant Degree Requirements
Graduates are required to obtain a 2:1 in their degree plus ABB at A-level, including A in Chemistry and B in either Biology, Physics or Mathematics.
