The University of Southampton Faculty of Medicine provides the following courses that require UCAT:

UCAT
Interviews are awarded based solely on UCAT once academic threshold met. The SJT is not considered.
Personal Statement
Selectors use the personal statement to inform interview questions related to the non-academic criteria if the applicant is invited to attend a Selection Day.
Academic Requirements
GCSE Requirements
GCSE Requrements for University of Southampton Faculty of Medicine are:
- Maths - Grade 7 minimum
- English - Grade 6 minimum
- Science - Grade 7 minimum in Biology and Chemistry or Dual Award Science
- Other requiremants - Six GCSEs at grade 7 minimum, including Maths and Science
GCSEs are not scored. Only minimum requirements needed
A-levels or Scottish Higher requirements.
AAA at A level including Biology and one additional science, and including a pass in the practical examinations where this is separately endorsed. Acceptable additional science subjects are Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, Sociology, Environmental Studies or Geography. General Studies and Critical Thinking are not accepted.
For this programme Southampton do not make an alternative EPQ offer, however they welcome applicants who have achieved a good grade in the EPQ.
International Baccalaureate
36 points, with 6,6,6 at Higher level in three subjects, to include Biology and an additional science subject. Acceptable additional science subjects are Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, Sociology, Environmental Studies or Geography.
