How to Register for UCAT UK 2025

Registrations to sit UCAT UK 2025 are now open!
UCAT UK 2025 testing takes place between 7 July and 26 September 2025, and bookings for UCAT open on 17 June 2025.
However, you can register your UCAT UK account now, which will allow you to immediately book a suitable location, date and time as soon as bookings open.
How do I register for UCAT UK 2025?
You must complete a two-step process using the Pearson VUE online registration system to register and then book a test.
Step 1: Online Account Registration
You must create an online account with Pearson VUE before you can book your UCAT test. You need to register for UCAT personally – this cannot be done by your school. You should only create one account as multiple accounts are not permitted.
You must register with your legal name exactly as it appears on the photo identification you will present at the UCAT testing centre. If there is not an exact match, you will not be able to take your UCAT test.

Special Accomodations
UCAT Bursary Scheme: If you have financial need, you can apply for a UCAT bursary to fully cover your test fee. Upon approval, you will receive a voucher code to be used when booking your test. Bursary applications are open now.
Access arrangements: Candidates with educational needs, disabilities, or medical conditions can apply for access arrangements. This can include additional time, rest breaks or other accommodations while sitting your test. Apply early as these arrangements must be approved before booking your test.
Step 2: Booking a UCAT Test
After registering your UCAT account, you will receive a confirmation email with your username. You can then log-in to your Pearson VUE account to book your UCAT test, once bookings open (on June 17).
UCAT UK is delivered in Pearson VUE test centres across the United Kingdom, and you can choose your UCAT testing centre. Some overseas test centres are also available.
