UCAT
Manchester use a UCAT cutoff score to select candidates for interview. For 2023 entry, a score of 2750 with Band 2 in Situational Judgement was required.
However, those who do not meet the threshold are not automatically rejected, unlike at several other institutions. Instead, these candidates are assessed via the ‘holistic route’.
Those in SJT Band 4, will not be invited to interview, while those in Band 1 and 2 will be prioritised in both holistic route.
Personal Statement
Personal statements are not normally used. An electronic non-academic information form will be sent to candidates ahead of interview. Manchester reserves the right to take the personal statement into account at any point during the application process.
