Registration and booking to sit UCAT UK 2025 will close Friday 19 September 2025 (12 noon BST)!
If you have not yet registered to sit UCAT, please do so immediately. Remember that this is your only chance to sit UCAT in 2025 – if you miss the registration and booking deadline, you will need to reapply next year. To register and book your test, please visit the UCAT consortium booking your test site.
Please check that you have both created an online account with Pearson VUE and that you have booked your desired UCAT testing date and time. If you have booked a UCAT test you will have received a confirmation email from Pearson VUE.
How to register for UCAT
You must complete a two-step process using the Pearson VUE online registration system to register and then book a test.
Step 1: Online Account Registration
You must first create an online account with Pearson VUE before you can book your test. It can take up to 1 business day for Pearson VUE to set up your account, so it is advisable to not leave this to the last day.
You must register with your legal name exactly as it appears on the photo identification that you present at the test centre. If there is not an exact match, you will not be able to take your test and will lose your test fee.
During registration you will need to answer some questions. The answers to these questions are not passed on to the university, but are solely for the UCAT Consortium's research. After you have registered with Pearson VUE, you can login to your account using your username and password. You will find your UCAT candidate ID (e.g. UKCAT987654) in the left corner of your account. You must use this ID in correspondence with Pearson VUE or the UCAT office.
If you are eligible for the UCAT Bursary Scheme, you should apply before booking your test, you can apply the bursary voucher during the booking checkout process. The Bursary Application deadline is 26 September 2025.
Step 2: Booking a Test
Log-in to your Pearson VUE account to book your test. The test fee is payable at the time of booking by major credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or Visa debit card). After you have booked your test, you will receive a confirmation email with your test appointment details.
No further bookings will be accepted after 19 September 2025 (12 noon BST).
Note that you can change your booking date, location and time up to 24 hours before your test appointment. If you try to change your booking within 24 hours of your test appointment you will not be eligible for a refund or free reschedule. If you miss your test, you will not be able to receive a refund or a free reschedule.
It is important to note that registering with MedEntry does not mean you have registered to sit UCAT!
